The year 2020 is a Milestone Year for us!

A decade ago, our current managing attorney single handedly founded our firm. It was born out of her vision to establish a leading, global legal services outfit majoring in intellectual property law. Her observation stemmed from the realisation that the world was evolving and certainly the legal services terrain would be different and needed special dedicated services. Globally, the world had become more interconnected and therein lay a huge wealth of creations and innovative technologies. It was in that where she saw that there was a need to cater for a special breed of clients in this global market. It was only fitting therefore, to pay special attention to Intellectual property rights, locally and internationally and be that legal anchor which support businesses which needed IP services in Africa.                                            

Since the inception, it has ceased to be a solo performance. Over the years, this vision has been shared with, grasped, and carried by our impeccable team. The inspiration has remained the same, the firm’s ultimate hope is to continuously strive to be the leading legal voice of our generation for intellectual property matters. With the knowledge that intellectual property law interconnects with other legal services, we continue to grow our firm and widen the scope of our practice areas. We remain steadfast in our vision and we remain committed to providing professional, high quality and globally recognised legal services to our clients.

True to one of our core values of teamwork, we took this opportunity to come together as a team, mapping out the road ahead and strengthening our synergy. We are reminded that ‘the whole is greater than the sum of its parts’. When individual parts come together to form one entity driven towards a common goal, we can rise to the occasion and show up more fully to the challenge. This is a lesson that we will take on to grow and motivate us to even greater heights.
