Our Managing Attorney Brenda Matanga was awarded the Top 50 Emerging IP Players Award 2019 by the IPR Gorilla, a global IP Consultancy Group through their research committee on the basis of her experience and expertise in the IP industry.

Some ten or so years ago- I left employment to take on an unpaid internship at the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization…( ARIPO). Keen and eager to learn – I went through the ropes & became a more informed intellectual property attorney.To go back today and serve as the Chairperson of the Working Group is not only an honour and privilege but a testimony that – if you set your mind on something , in due season – you will reap! Most Influential Woman in Intellectual Property Law Zimbabwe

Brenda Matanga was duly elected as a Councillor of the Law Society of Zimbabwe-Harare Constituency at the Annual General Meeting held in Harare on the 8th of December 2017. She is part of the 9 Councillors who shall be managing the affairs of the Law Society, a body which seeks to regulate and represent the legal profession in Zimbabwe.
